Edward J. (Eddie) Pineda entered his Heavenly Home on June 27, 2019. He was born on Oct. 20, 1942, to Procopio & Benita Pineda. Ed attended St. Mary School in Walsenburg. Upon graduating he enlisted in the Navy and served 4 yrs. Ed worked several jobs before joining the Labors Union from which he retired.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Alice, Ervin, John, Helen, Louise, Lee & Frank.
He leaves his wife Rose Marie, son Frank, granddaughter Sophia of Pueblo, daughter Dina, grandsons Spencer & Frankie Sunderland of Arizona, sister Annie Valasquez and Patricia Martinez of Nebraska.
Extended Family, stepson Fred (Suzie), P.J (Bernadette), Camillo (Heather), all of Thornton, stepdaughter Denise of Walsenburg. Special granddaughter Brittini Sanchez & great granddaughter, who stole his heart & brought out the best in him Noelani Rose Bellah.
He loved all sports, football & the Raiders, baseball & the Dodgers, were his favorite.
He kept busy working on his home & gardening. He looked forward to his Phone Calls from his high school buddies, and visiting friends.
