Clara Virginia (Vezzani0 Quartiero, 82, of Pryor, reunited with her true love on, March 3, 2019. Born July 14, 1936, in Rouse, Colo., to Ma and Jennie (Pugnetti) Vezzani. Clara lived her whole life in the Rouse/Pryor area. Clara Married Frank Quartiero on Sept. 8, 195, and is survived by her two sons, James (Jane) Quartiero of Aguilar and Gerald (Shelley) Quartiero of Walenburg, Colo. Surviors also include; three grandchildren, Casey (Tim) Brake of Pueblo West, Tyler (Nicole) Quartiero of Rye and Shanna (David) Armijo of Walsenburg; great-grandchildren, Darrien Wiggins, Daimen Brake, Kallie Brake, Kolten Brake, Sofia Quartiero and River Armijo; sister-in-law, June Vezzani; brothers, Louis (Evelyn) Vezzani, Lindo (Sharron) Vezzani and Max (Sharon) Vezzani; and numerous nieces and nephews. Clara is preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank Quartiero, sister, Mary (Vezzani) Vigna, brother-in-law Matt Vigna, brother, Lawrence (June) Vezzani and infant brother, Charles Vezzani. Clara graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1954. Clara worked for the Post Office from the time she was 15 until she retired at the age of 69, but her most loved role was as a mother to her two sons and grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cremation and private inurnment at her request.
